Live Recording: What we offer

Everything has begun with an invitation from the Brazilian musician, Roberto Frejat, for the "Barão Vermelho - Balada MTV" CD and TV special recording sessions. He wanted to preserve both the energy found in a live recording event and, at the same time, the high technical quality only found in recording studios. The invitation was promptly accepted!! The final results were so good that Loudness decided to create a new division, focused only in live recordings - the Loudness Recording division - which already has, at this time, customers such as Universal Music, MTV, Globo TV and Sony Music.

Joining high-profile digital technology to a high-quality service, national and internationally renowned, Loudness showed to the market a quite different approach, offering the facility of, at the same time, doing both the recording session and the sound reinforcement system, what means total convenience for the customer.

The equipment inventory of the company is quite broad, mainly with the intention to offer as many options as possible for the clients. There are from tape-based and hard-disk-based (@ 24 bits) digital multitrack recorders until "total recall" mixing consoles, equipped with Rupert Neve modules and virtual dynamics processors for each channel, including here some state-of-the-art itens, such as effects and outboard dynamics and processors, like Amek 9098, Manley, Focusrite, Summit, Antony DeMaria Labs, TL Audio and Lexicon, and Neumann, Sennheiser, Shure, AKG and Beyerdynamic microphones. Signal division between the FOH and Monitor mixing consoles is done through Klark Teknik DN-1248 active splitters, providing the guarantee of a clear and crisp sound, within a high dynamic range.

Following the group tradition, which has a strong presence in the market, through its two divisions - Sound Reinforcement and Special Projects - the newest division of the Loudness group also has a broad range of action, handling from classic music until rock'n roll, in order to support all the needs and expectations of its customers.
