Sound Reinforcement: What they say about it
 |
| |
"With Gil I had the opportunity to travel around the world, working at the most important festivals, with the best technicians and equipment available. I'm proud to know that there's a company in Brazil that provides the same quality and service as some of the best worldwide that I have had the privilege of working with. Not just because of the equipment but also because of the technical team, always attentive and above all else, extremely competent."
Mário "Leco" Possolo, Gilberto Gil's FOH engineer

" If there is one thing that can be said about my theater is that it runs on its musicality and on sounds. Almost like one of those “internal monologues” of the late Beckett period, my theater is made up of a style critics have learned to call “dry opera”. This consists of a very tight and precise method of linking acting to lighting and that to its soundtrack. Having worked extensively and prolifically in none less than 10 countries, including the US, Germany, England, Austria, Denmark, Japan, Brazil, I have found no better partner than Marcio Pilot and the entire Loudness crew.
Their method seems rather simple and the excellence in the result comes from their profound respect for the artist’s concept and profound knowledge on how to make it happen.
My love for this company is such that I have often found myself in countries that have a long tradition of “perfect sound”, crying out Marcio Pilot’s name. On the stage of the Vienna Opera House, as well as at Lincoln Center, these cries became a joke amongst the local sound crew and kept on being repeated as “Gerald is calling out for his pilot again”... There’s no exaggeration in this anecdote.
When I first started working with Marcio (it must have been in the early nineties), his delicate, intelectual and almost guttural approach to sound struck me as being that of an artist. Our connection was immediate and the results have earned us both an incredible array of rave reviews and prizes.

"Working with Loudness is an assurance of tranquility. You know that you'll get there and everything will be right."
Roberto Frejat - Lead Vocals and Guitar for Barão Vermelho, Brazil's seminal Rock Band

"Of all the sound companies that I've worked with, in and out of Brazil, Loudness is certainly the one that presents the characterisrics I always search for: The best crew; the best gear and the best service. That's why to me, Loudness is the best."
Renato Muñoz - FOH Engineer for Skank

"Throughout one's professional carreer, it is natural to select people, to create teams, to establish relationships based on the quality of work. Loudness, to me, has become essential. I have absolute confidence in the result they will provide and in the method of work created by these professionals. They always provide solutions, never problems. Today, I consider Marcio, more than a coworker, but someone I consult for every project in which I participate."
